Die Auftakt-Konzerte des hr-Sinfonieorchesters präsentieren interessante Dirigenten und Solisten mit attraktiven Programmen.

Gäste des ersten Konzerts sind der französische Cellist Bruno Philippe und der griechische Flötist Stathis Karapanos unter Leitung von Christoph Eschenbach. Ferner kann man den belgischen Geiger Marc Bouchkov mit dem russischen Dirigenten Stanislav Kochanovsky sowie den deutsche Pianisten Frank Dupree und die französische Dirigentin Ariane Matiakh erleben. Darüber hinaus bereichert der finnische Geiger Pekka Kuusisto als »Artist in Residence« des hr-Sinfonieorchesters die Auftakt-Konzerte mit einem aparten Programm, das er selbst leitet.
The Frankfurt Radio Symphony Auftakt concerts offer interesting conductors and soloists with attractive programmes. Guests at the first concert are the French cellist Bruno Philippe and the Greek flautist Stathis Karapanos under the baton of Christoph Eschenbach. Other performers include the Belgian violinist Marc Bouchkov with the Russian conductor Stanislav Kochanovsky as well as the German pianist Frank Dupree and the French conductor Ariane Matiakh. In addition, the Finnish violinist Pekka Kuusisto, this season‹s »Artist in Residence«, will himself be conducting a distinctive programme, adding a true flourish to Frankfurt Radio Symphony‹s opening concerts.
