Blaumacherei - Natural Dyeing

On Friday, May 9, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. offers the Kunstforum of TU Darmstadt a crash course on natural dyeing. Peek into the foundations of natural dyeing, the art of colouring textiles with natural materials.Get a solid overview of the process from start to finish (preparing the textiles, guide to harvesting and sourcing dye stuff - even in the colder seasons, dyeing, finishing). This introducing crash course encourages you to be curious, to tend dye pots without being intimidated and to create an abundance of colours! Materials are provided. The course fee is 60 € / person.
